I am the Virginia C.U.R.E. children with an incarcerated parent representative. I am also the Director of the Family Day Event and Toy Project. I started the K.I.D.S. (Kids of Inmates will Define our Society) part of Virginia C.U.R.E. because I believe these children can break the cycle of incarceration.
I am a Co Chairperson of the Virginia C.U.R.E. Family Day Event and the Holiday Toys for Tots Project. I have spoken before a Parole Forum about the effects of incarceration on the children of inmates in Virginia. Frank Green of the Richmond Times Dispatch wrote an article about me. I am a 2009 winner of the Kohl's Kids Who Care Scholarship Program. The Virginia C.U.R.E. K.I.D.S. Changing the Future One Step at a Time pledge is my project.
